Banana Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

Welcome back! Today I have another recipe for you, and it’s my Banana Blueberry Smoothie. This smoothie is full of healthy ingredients, and is great to have as a breakfast smoothie, or even as a cool drink on a hot day (which is perfect considering today is the first day of summer!) So, read on for everything you need to know to make this refreshing lil’ smoothie.

step 1 - bananaAdd 1 sliced banana. (Tip: I cut and freeze mine before using them. That way, when you use it in the drink, the frozen banana keeps it nice and cold!)

step 2 - acaistep 3 - mama powderstep 4 - cacao powderAdd 1 teaspoon of acai, cacao and maca powder.

step 5 - blueberriesstep 6 - goji berriesAdd 125g blueberries, and 2 teaspoons goji berries.

step 7 - wheatgrassAdd a handful of wheatgrass.

step 7 - milkPour in 1/2 cup of milk, or whatever liquid you want to use, such as coconut water, soy milk, etc. (I used light cows milk)

step 8 - blendScrew on the lid and blend it all together!

step 9 - serve Banana Blueberry SmoothiePour into a glass (or bowl – this drink is thick enough to be eaten as a smoothie bowl. If you want it to be more liquid, just add more milk.)


Banana Blueberry Smoothie:

Ingredients:

1 sliced banana
1 tsp acai powder
1 tsp cacao powder
1 tsp Maca powder
125g blueberries
2 tsp goji berries
Handful of wheatgrass
1/2 cup of milk (or other liquid. Add more liquid to make drink thinner)

  1. Add all ingredients to blender/Nutribullet.
  2. Blend together until everything is combined.
  3. Pour into glass or bowl. Top with chia seeds and granola, then serve. Makes 1 drink.
